International Showcase 2024

A key aim of Belfast International Arts Festival is to support Northern Ireland’s independent performing arts community in their ambitions to explore and create on an international scale.

We are therefore delighted to reveal a new professional developmental initiative under Embrace: a three-day event showcasing the best theatre and performing arts from across NI to international delegates.

Our showcase is delivered by a partnership comprising Belfast International Arts Festival, Belfast 2024, British Council NI, Theatre and Dance NI and is generously supported by Culture Ireland.

Our programme promises an exciting range of performances, pitches, and discussions aimed at fostering collaboration, innovation and exchange between NI’s performing arts sector and the international arts community.

The showcase takes place across Belfast from 31 October – 2 November and features performances from local artists and ensembles including Big Telly Theatre Company, Cahoots NI, Helen Hall, Michael McEvoy and Northern Attitudes Dance, Prime Cut Productions, The Lyric Theatre, and Tinderbox Theatre Company.
