145th Royal Ulster Academy Exhibition
The 145th Royal Ulster Academy Annual Exhibition returns to the Ulster Museum, bringing together RUA members, invited artists and artists selected through open submission.
The exhibition spans painting, sculpture, print, photography and craft. A luscious landscape painting by invited British artist Andrew Gifford features alongside work by newly elected Academicians Alana Barton and Stuart Marshall. The RUA also continues its engagement with contemporary craft through its association with Craft NI.
At the heart of the exhibition is the RUA’s open submission, offering artists at every stage of their practice the opportunity to have their work selected for one of Northern Ireland’s most significant exhibitions.
Alongside the exhibition, the RUA’s education programme welcomes thousands of pupils through guided tours, workshops, lectures and encounters with artists.
Sponsored by KPMG, with support from Belfast City Council, the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and Dormant Assets NI.
