Ave Maris Stella – Hail Star Of The Sea

Join us in the beautiful surroundings of the Great Hall at Queen’s for Music from 16th century Venice.  Showcasing outstanding local classical musicians, this event will feature Mark Chambers of the Northern Ireland based early music group Sestina.

This year’s Mini-Fest gets off to a flying start with a programme of music by the great Renaissance composer Monteverdi and his contemporaries.

The Northern Lights Mini-Fest is presented in partnership with Belfast Music Society in an annual showcase of outstanding young classical musicians from Northern Ireland.
