Qss Behind The Studio Door
Visual Arts

As Queen Street Studios (QSS) marks its 40th anniversary, you are invited to take a look behind the studio doors of some of Belfast’s brightest emerging and established artists.

Explore the studios independently or join a guided tour to hear artists talk about their processes. Refreshments will be available throughout the day. QSS emerged in 1984 in response to the lack of studio and gallery space in Belfast, and 40 years on, it is thriving with 48 studios and expansive gallery space.

Visitors can also view We are QSS at 40, a large-scale exhibition, curated by Eamonn Maxwell, featuring current studio holders and past members.  Whilst the majority of the exhibiting artists are current studio holders (including Susan Connolly, Amanda Coogan, Joy Gerrard, Sharon Kelly, Mark McGreevy and Jennifer Trouton), works by a number of past members from across the last four decades have also been included.

If you would like to take part in a guided tour, to avoid disappointment, please book your place in advance here.

No booking required  if you want to visit the studio independently.
