Belonging On Stage

The team at SARC join with collaborators from Brain Injury Matters and Drake Music NI to present a performance showcase of three projects exploring inclusion and belonging through participatory approaches to sound and music.

Luminous Interfaces (Franziska Schroeder) features three improvisations created with co-designed accessible instruments including VR, AI colour-tracking and adapted game controller technologies.

It Flows with No Electrics (John D’Arcy), explores the lived experience of brain injury through music, sound and visuals.

Touching the Ear (Pedro Rebelo), a performance developed with deaf participants, explores different ways of feeling music.
