Fite Fuaite

Electrifying reggae, ska, and hip-hop performed in Irish by two of Belfast’s most exciting and well-known bands, and innovative rap artist from County Kerry in Bréag, Boss Sound Manifesto & Súil Amháin.

Bréag are a pioneering Irish-language music collective who have been in great demand since their formation in 1993, playing festivals with the likes of, The Wailers (Natty was also a former band member), Shane McGowan, Alabama 3, Manu Chao, and Bad Manners, to name a few.

Boss Sound have built up a loyal fanbase at their gigs in Belfast and further afield. In recent years they’ve supported the likes of Neville Staples, and Lee Scratch Perry & the Upsetters.

Súil Amháin comprises the accomplished Kerry based poet and rapper, Séamus Barra Ó Súilleabháin, who engages his audience with incendiary delivery and sharp, astute.

SÉiMí is a Gaeilgeóir and musician from west Belfast and Terraplen MC is a Mexican rapper, native to Guadalajara city in the state of Jalisco. They just finished collaborating on an E.P of new original songs in Gaeilge, Spanish, Nahuatl, and English – which will be debuted at Fite Fuaite / Belfast International Arts Festival.
