Ingrid Persaud’s latest book, The Lost Love Songs of Boysie Singh, tells the unforgettable story of four incredible women. Her debut novel, Love After Love, won the Costa First Novel Award, the Author’s Club First Book Award, and the Indie Book Award for Fiction. She was born in Trinidad and lives in London.

Sunjeev Sahota joins us to discuss his acclaimed novel The Spoiled Heart. He is the author of Ours Are the Streets, The Year of the Runaways, and China Room. The Year of the Runaways was shortlisted for the Booker Prize and won several awards. He lives in Sheffield and teaches at Durham University.

The event will be chaired by Alan Simpson.
