My Grandfather’s House
Dylan Quinn Dance Theatre
Two men. Grandfather and Grandson. One born 1919. One born 1974.
An intimate physical performance presented within a beautifully constructed 1970’s living room transports four audience members on an emotionally captivating journey.
Dylan Quinn recalls his grandfather’s experiences of fighting in war and his of growing up in a place at war. Revealing shared memories from across this place we call home.
Traversing the innocence of childhood and playful joy, juxtaposed against the chaos of Northern Ireland during the 70s, 80s and 90s, Quinn brings to life his memories and experiences in this engaging immersive experience.
