New Playwrights Showcase

The Lyric Theatre warmly invites you to a series of rehearsed readings showcasing the exceptional talents of new and up-and-coming Northern Irish writers.

Rose Coogan, Caoimhe Farren, Caitlin Magnall-Kearns, Paul Mallon & Eléonore Maudet were selected from a record breaking number of submissions to take part in the New Playwrights Programme, developing new work with the support of the Lyric’s Literary Manager Rebecca Mairs.

Audiences will have the chance to see these works-in-progress for the first time, presented as dynamic script-in-hand readings featuring some of our finest actors – an exclusive opportunity to be the first to experience these new plays.
