Oats, Ropes and Whiskey – Connswater River | Walking Tour

This area was formerly the focus for much large-scale industry and it has a long and storied past.

There are stories of old mills and wartime devastation, with tales of Gaelic Lords and Blues records! This is a highly visual tour with added tunes. Be inspired by the transformation of this formerly highly polluted waterway which has resulted in the return of the little egret and the kingfisher. Join us on this walk along the Connswater Community Greenway and visit the ancient heart of East Belfast.
