Rafael Toral

Pioneering guitarist and master of ambient, experimental & electronic music, Rafael Toral, presents Spectral Evolution in the incredible acoustic setting of the Sonic Lab at SARC.

Alongside contemporaries such as Jim O’Rourke and Christian Fennesz, Toral reinvigorated the electronic and experimental scenes of the nineties with a series of acclaimed works which beautifully combined guitar with electronics to produce warm, welcoming waves of ambience.

Toral concludes his SARC residency by presenting his acclaimed 2024 album Spectral Evolution live. This is a chance to immerse yourself in ground-breaking music aimed fully at both the head and the heart.
