Rory Friers

Internationally recognised composer, producer and immersive artist Rory Friers plays a very special home town performance to mark the launch of his debut solo release HOME.

Best known for his emotionally resonant film scores, immersive sound installations, and his award-winning work as guitarist and songwriter in experimental rock band And So I Watch You From Afar, Friers blends intricate strings, warm electronica and expressive guitar into deeply emotional musical experiences.

This one-off concert features frequent collaborators; pianist Michael Keeney, Arco String Quartet, and others from his core ensemble, performing new music from Home and selections from his back catalogue and film work.
