2013 Festival
2013 was a significant year for the Festival renewing its commitment to updating its identity and focus to meet the needs of audiences and stakeholders as well as confirming Festival’s place in the Belfast and NI arts scene as ‘Ireland’s leading contemporary arts Festival’.
Following on from a major 50th anniversary celebrations in 2012, the Festival started a new chapter under new Director Richard Wakely. The new team was tasked to plan and deliver in just 6 months an international celebration in Belfast that brought together arts and creativity from across the world under one cultural umbrella.
